The previous generation did value education but the problem to them was they lacked accessibility to many things including education. That generation even looked at education as the way out from their situations living in townships and poverty.

Today's generation is more privileged than the previous generation because they have access to education, and the education is better than back then and there have been more developments in education since then. That is why we as the current generation should value education.

To be succesful is to be anything that you ever dreamed of. Being successful doesnt necessarily mean having the highest level of education but sometimes, well these days mostly, success comes with education and fulfilling your dreams.

Today there are many opportunities available, especially for the youth. Things like going overseas to work, good jobs that pay well but for all these things one needs to be educated.

In some cases people cant afford to pay for their education, that can be a problem, but because there are opportunities today you can get help like applying for bursaries and loands. It only requires a person's dedication.

I think the generation of today should value education as much as the previous generation did and they should see it as the key to success. If you dont have money you can get help and there are many opportunities from being educated. So I believe that the youth today should value education.
