The previous generation valued education more than many other things but they could not get education due to the inaccessibility of it to them. Those days people had a tough time fighting for their freedom those who were at school they fought the fcat that they were being educated in Afrikaans. They also fought the fact that they could only become teachers, nurses, and doctors as they wanted more opportunities in order to succeed.

Today's generation doesnt value education as much as they should. They have the chance to learn even if they dont have money for the school fees the government can help them. They have more chances of succeeding in life because they can study almost anything they want to study and become whatever they want. They just need to want it enough and be stubborn about it. Those who arent at school dont know what they want.

Anyone can be successful even if they are not educated but that doesnt mean they should not be educated because they can use their talents in order to succeed. Success means to achieve what you set out to achieve and to be wealthy. Everyone who i educated has a better chance of opportunities than those who are not. They can earn high salaries and they can go overseas if they are educated.

Most of the people who dont go to Universities or Technikon are black that is because they are not able to afford it. If you want to go to tertiary studies you have to pass well in grade 12 so that you can get given a bursary if not then you are going to have a hard time finding a job.

Previous generations did not have a chance of education compared to the current generation. Today's generation does not value it after all those people fought and died for it. Today's generation have a better chance of success than previous generations. They have lots more opportunities than before. They can succeed without money by using their talents and other things.
