Good luck to IkamvaYouth learners on their exams
I remember right at the beginning of the year when we had an Open Day at the Makhaza branch for learners that are interested in joining IkamvaYouth in addition to the learners that enrolled the previous year. One gentleman raised his hand from the fully packed Nazeema Isaacs Library and once he received his chance to speak, he said that he specifically want to say to the Grade 12’s that the year is very short and they need to work hard from the beginning of the year. He mentioned how much work one is involved with at Grade 12 and made it clear that if one snooze he or she will lose.
We had so many activities at IkamvaYouth since then and we haven’t relaxed on the tutoring front while as our tradition also doing those sought after life skills workshops and more.
It’s now crunch time for IkamvaYouth grade 12’s and of cause they are not alone as the whole country will be watching a start of the matric exams on the 26th of October 2009. We know that we have been doing our bit after school but on behalf of the IkamvaYouth members I would like to wish all Ikamvanites that will be writing exams a very big GOOD LUCK and I hope that Ikamvanites will find extra energy in addition to the one that carried them throughout the year to succeed in these upcoming exams.
