A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the toyi toyi ... your support means so much to IkamvaYouth, and helped to make the experience fun and effective.

The news coverage leading up to the Toyi Toyi prompted a local WISP to install a grid antenna onto the roof of our library free of charge, and get us connected to the Internet within a week. It is thanks to the collaborative efforts of Amobia, Frogfoot and Inkululeko technologies that we are also receiving 3GB free Internet access per month. Viva!

The toyi toyi also resulted in action from Telkom. Press describing the event led Telkom to "deny digital apartheid", and install ADSL in our lab within a week. It's amazing what a little sing and dance can achieve... Have a look at these pictures, taken by Philipp and Jonathan, to see what fun we had.

Viva, Ikamva, Viva!
