Some interesting facts about our web users over the past year since the relaunching of our website (20th Feb 2007 - 19th Feb 2008):

• 6,700 visits by 4,823 distinct computer connections
• 24,543 page views
• Visitors spent on average 6 minutes and 27 seconds on the website
• 53 % of visitors were directed to the site from search engines, 16.5 % from links from other websites, and the remainder was direct traffic
• 20 % of all page views was the home page, other pages that were frequently viewed were in descending order: Image Gallery, About Us page, Team and the Programmes.
  
• Key search phrases used to access the website were: "ikamva youth", "ikamva","hout bay music project" and "ikamvayouth", suggesting that many of the visitors were already aware of the existence of the project.
  
• The peak of visits was in October.
  
• 64% of visitors were using Internet Explorer while 31% were using Firefox.
  
• 68% of all visitors came from South Africa, of which 22% came from Cape Town.
• Visitors came from 105 different countries to view our website, every continent except Antarctica was represented. Every major region of Africa brought in some visitors to the website.
