Where are our students today?

The achievements and status of the ex-learners below are in no particularly order:

* Class of 2006 *

Philip Mcelu is studying BSc (Biotechnology) at the Univeristy of Cape Town.

Fezeka Madonono and Nonzwakazi Mkungelwa are pursuing degrees in Analytical Chemistry at CPUT. Asanda Mayongo is studying towards her degree in Accountancy at CPUT. Engineers in training this year include Vusumzi Dumile (Electrical) and Mdumiseni Kahle (Civil), both who are registered at CPUT. Nzuzo Ntuli is also registered at CPUT and pursuing a degree in Environmental Health.

Thando Charles, Mvuyisi Gulwa, and Khaya Mthiya are all registered at the Cape Institute for agricultural training at Elsenberg College with full bursaries.

Unathi Gcina is studing computers at Cornerstone. Sibongiseni Madakana is studying Travel and Tourism and Damelin College.

A number of learners are in full-time employment. Lulekwa Hadi is working at Birds Boutique, Lungelo Masiza is selling African Life Insurance for SANLAM and Noluthando Sithole is working at McDonalds to save money so that she can afford to study Nursing in 2008.

 

* Class of 2005 *

Sinethemba Kameni, Thobela Bixa and Ntando Ntuli are all studying BSc degrees at the University of Cape Town (UCT). Ntando also received a R5000 Merit Scholarship for his matric achievements from UCT. Thobela has been on the Dean's Merit list for 2 consecutive years (2006, 2007) and has a Mandela-Rhodes scholarship. 

Nomzamo Kali and Zukile Keswa are registered at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) studying BComm degree both with bursaries. Ncebakazi Khutuka is also registered at UWC studying towards a nursing degree, and Unathi Sidali is regsitered for BAdmin degree. Both young ladies also have scholarships for their studies. Yandisa Sonteya is currently registered at UWC studying Environmental and Water Sciences. Ayanda Sawulisi is also registered at UWC pursuing a BA degree. Zuko Mndayi is studying Education at UWC and is currently doing his practical teaching experience at Fezeka High.

We have a number of future engineers in the making. Simamkele Fulela, Sithembile Mhlauli, Nolusindiso Mato, Siphumle Yalezo, Mawethu Yiweni, and Axola Qayi are all studying towards their BTech Engineering diplomas at Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT).

Sinethemba Dunge is studying Mechanical Engineering at Cape College.

Funeka Kalawe and Bulelani Gwampi are studying towards their B Tech(Information Technology). Funeka Kalawe also received a partial-bursary from SACTWU. Vuyokazi Gama is also registered at CPUT studying Education. Nosihle Luzipho is studying at CPUT towards BTech (Biotechnology).

Iviwe Vikilahle is currently employed at a financial institution, following which he will pursue a B Comm degree. After studying Cosmotology at the Cape College, Vuyiseka Bixa after completing a year studyign cosmetology is working in a salon in Canal Walk.

James Masixole is pursuing an IT certification at Rosebank College. Nkosikho Sigaba is at TSIBA college pursuing degrees in Business Administration. Bongani Ndubata after completing a year at TSIBA is now employed as the Nazeema Isaacs library IkamvaYouth lab.
